June Chef of the Month: Misty Schappert of Blue Water BBQ Company

Every other month, we’re spotlighting one of our chefs or restaurateurs here at The Wharf. This month is Misty Schappert of Blue Water BBQ Company. Step into her smokehouse to learn more!

Hot off this weeks official ribbon cutting ceremony, Blue Water BBQ Company is bringing something to the table (pun intended) here at The Wharf that will leave you hankering for more. The concept is unique to the area; a fast-casual, cafeteria-style dining setup with flair.

Misty and Neil Schappert are the husband and wife team behind the restaurant’s design and, believe us, they are not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get down with some mouth-watering brisket! All the meats are smoked in-house daily and carved by an on-site butcher. Whether it’s chicken, fall-off-the-bone ribs, or locally sourced sausage, they’ve got you covered. Oh, and don’t forget the fix’ins!
