A Day in the Life of the Easter Bunny
April 10, 2019
You may have wondered to yourself around Easter time…What exactly does the Easter Bunny do all day?
If this thought has crossed your mind, you’re in luck, because we had the grand opportunity to sit down with the Easter Bunny himself and ask him what he does all day. And we chose a particularly special day: Saturday, April 13th, when The Wharf hosts our annual Easter Egg Hunt on the Marina Lawn!
The Easter Bunny starts his day with carrots, because a full meal at breakfast is important. He then hippity hops on over to The Wharf bright and early to hide all 5,000 Easter eggs for all the cute little youngsters to find!
After the Easter Bunny is finish hiding all the eggs, he sneaks over to The Southern Grind Coffee House to help Mr. Jimmy bake up 500 delicious sugar cookies—of course, the Easter Bunny is the taste taster because he needs to make sure the cookies are perfect for his favorite egg hunters. Stop by The Southern Grind Coffee House before or after the egg hunt to get one of these magnificent cookies. According to the Easter Bunny, they are his favorite!
After all that sugar, the Easter Bunny really needs to work off all that energy, so he creates jumbo coloring pages for his favorite egg hunters to color! You can find these jumbo coloring pages in the Kids Zone, which is filled with great activities. The Easter Bunny’s favorite thing in the Kids Zone is the bouncy house, because what does a bunny do better than jump? He’ll be testing the quality of the bouncy house to make sure it has just the right amount of bounce for a fun time!
All the fun really gets started at 11:30 am when the Easter Egg Hunt begins! But you better be here bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, because some of those eggs have special surprises in them. What kind of surprises you may ask? You’ll have to get here early to find one…in a golden egg! The Easter Bunny is making these golden eggs specially for our egg hunters at The Wharf, and he’ll be filling them with only the best things!
After the hunt is over, the Easter Bunny will be hopping by to give warm hugs and to take pictures all afternoon, so be sure to keep an eye out for him. He’ll even have some little fuzzy rabbit friends for your children to hold and pet.
Join us and the Easter Bunny for a fun-filled egg hunt extravaganza! It will be an eggs-tra good time.
