Cinco De Mayo at The Wharf
May 3, 2019
Cinco De Mayo is right around the corner and we have the inside scoop for tacos and margaritas!
Start your Sunday off right at The Blind Tiger, where their fresh-squeezed margaritas are a must. Then just mosey along the boardwalk and soak up the beautiful view of The Wharf Marina and all the yachts on your way to YoHo Rum & Tacos. Let’s face it, Cinco De Mayo is not the same without margaritas and tacos—the best of both worlds!
YoHo Rum & Tacos is a new restaurant here at The Wharf, and they have so many delicious items on their menu. But today, it’s all about the tacos. They’ve got many different tacos to offer for everyone from meat eaters to seafood lovers. If we had to recommend a couple from their menu, we’d highly suggest the Chimi Churri Skirt Steak Taco with guacamole, fried jalapeños, and cotija cheese or the Seared Tuna Taco with seared Yellowfin tuna, mango, pineapple relish, and arugula. Now those two tacos are definitely a must-try!
Next stop for your Cinco De Mayo adventure is Sol Y Mar! Grab another margarita and maybe some chips and salsa—and let’s not forget the queso. That white cheese is the best part. If you’re in the mood for traditional Mexican food, we’d recommend their beef or chicken enchiladas, but with so many delicious combos on their menu, you can’t go wrong.
After that, your day is not over yet! Grab yourself another margarita to go and walk on down to the Ferris Wheel for a romantic ride with the perfect view of the sunset over the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Then stay a while and visit some of our locally owned shops filled with super cute summer wear.
And if you’re a dog lover, we’re a pet-friendly destination, and sometimes petting and loving on a dog is just what the soul needs. Stop by Shades to see one of their cuddly golden retrievers or visit Khloe and Kate Children’s Boutique to see Bentley, their fluffy St. Bernard.
