Looking for an excuse to have a mid-week celebration? Join us for Cinco de Mayo at YoHo Rum & Tacos and The Boat Bar on Wednesday, May 5!

Happening all day, guests can enjoy:

  • $2: Corona®
  • $1.99: House margaritas
  • $2: Street tacos (chicken or beef)
  • $5: Nachos (chicken or beef)

They will also be doing a liquor promo at The Boat Bar from 6-7:30 pm with the new Smirnoff strawberry lemonade, and inside YoHo they’ll have a piñata filled with treats for a few lucky guests to break open!

Can’t make it? Don’t worry, we’ve included a signature margarita recipe from the crew for you to make at home and still somewhat get to be a part of the fun!

Cucumber Jalapeño Margarita

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 fresh jalapeño
  • 1.25 ounces blanco tequila (suggested: Espolon Blanco)
  • 3 limes
  • 3 oranges
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 ounce agave nectar
  • 1 scoop of ice

DIRECTIONS

  • Slice and peel cucumber then cut into wedges
  • Deseed and chop jalapeño into slices
  • Juice limes, oranges + lemons
  • Muddle 3-4 cucumber wedges and 3-4 jalapeño slices (or more if you like it extra spicy) in a shaker
  • Add 1.25 ounces blanco tequila
  • Add 4-5 ounces of fresh citrus juice (lemon, lime + orange)
  • Add 1 ounce agave nectar
  • Add one scoop of ice
  • Then, shake all ingredients in shaker
  • Strain over ice in a salted (or unsalted) rocks glass
  • Garnish with a jalapeño and cucumber
  • Enjoy!
