5 FUN Things to do in February at The Wharf
‘Tis the season for love, so raise your hand if you have a LOVE for good times! (*hand raise*) It may be considered the off-season around here, but our calendar of events sure doesn’t reflect that!
So, we’ve rounded up a few suggestions for a day (or night) filled with love, smiles and laughter that you’ll remember (and repeat) for years to come.
1. Boom Boom 2021 – Saturday, February 13
Mardi Gras may be canceled, but the “good times” are not. Join us for a socially distant celebration, presented by the City of Orange Beach, and watch the color of the season fill the sky with an exciting fireworks show. You can even see it from your cars, trucks and boats. The pops flicker at 7 pm. Click here for more details and a map!
2. Valentine’s Day Horse + Carriage Rides - Sunday, February 14
Can you think of a cuter Valentine’s Day idea? Whether your special someone is a spouse, child, grandchild or significant other, you can be sure to sweeten their night with a horse-drawn carriage ride. You’ll want to have your camera ready for this one. Click here for details.
3. Valentine's Dinner for 2 at Local Life – Sunday, February 14
Our mouths are already watering just thinking about it. Our newest restaurant, Local Life, has introduced a special, three-course dinner for 2 for one-night only. The cost is $65. For reservations, call 870-50-LOCAL (56225), or click here for more details.
4. Mardi Gras Celebration + Karaoke Party at The Sandshaker – Tuesday, February 16
We know Mardi Gras already made the list at No. 1, but can you blame us for a repeat? It has its own season around here. Make plans today to come out on Fat Tuesday for the Karaoke + DJ Party with Kelly! Click here for details.
5. Seafood Fest – Saturday, February 27
Need we say more? It’s the festival we all love ‘round this time each year – the 29th Annual Orange Beach Seafood Festival & Car Show hosted by the City of Orange Beach and the Mako’s Academics, Arts & Athletics Club (MAAAC). Start your engines and bring the whole family out to enjoy arts, crafts and food vendors, dozens of hot rod and classic vehicles and a crawfish boil presented by Beebe’s Pest Control. Click here for details.
And don’t forget, your safety is of utmost importance to us here at The Wharf. Because of that, The Wharf is encouraging all guests to adhere to social distancing and facial covering guidelines.
We ask that you come out, have fun and keep back six feet. Air high fives are encouraged when you see your friends at the event. For your convenience, we have also added hand sanitizer stations throughout the property.
We want all visitors to feel safe when they visit The Wharf! We can’t wait to see you … here!
