MoonPies on Main Field Guide

February 26, 2019

Mardi Gras is in full swing and we have the inside scoop for you!

MoonPies on Main is this upcoming Monday, March 4th, one day before Fat Tuesday proper. There will be so many great activities for you and your family, it’ll be hard to decide which one to do first! Don’t fret, though—we cooked up this guide to help you make the most out of your day.

Starting at 4 pm, we are kicking off the parades with our Kid and Pet Parade, so make sure those babies and fur babies are decked out in purple, green, and gold Mardi Gras attire.

After the first parade, join us in Palms Plaza to dance and celebrate with our marvelous DJ. Keep your little ones occupied with our free bouncy house or watch them climb our rock wall. They can even enjoy camel rides and face painting. The activities will even include a painting class and a magical poodle show!

After your little ones have exhausted all their energy, grab a bite to eat at one of our wonderful restaurants, but be sure not to stay too long.

At 6pm, our nighttime float parade begins! This will be the perfect time to fill the rest of your Mardi Gras bag with green, gold, and purple beads, and let’s not forget the MoonPies!

Maybe you’d prefer a romantic night out? Take a starry-eyed ride on our Horse & Carriage from 5pm-8pm, one night only!

Or make it a friends night out and try all the great drinks and food that our restaurants and bars have to offer; after all, we are the entertainment district, so you can grab your drink and walk around as you please!

And don’t forget to finish the night off with a show—a Spectra Sound & Light Spectacular, that is. We’ll be featuring a special showing just for MoonPies on Main.

Make it a Monday evening to remember and join us for the grand festivities at MoonPies on Main!
