Quick Meals

We’ve all been in a pinch and needed a quick, on-the-go meal. Did you know all of The Wharf’s restaurants take call-ahead orders and have to-go options? You can find a directory of eateries at The Wharf here.

Or, if you’re at home and in a bind on what to make the kids — check out these two easy recipes below from our friends at Orange Beach Concierge. We’d venture to say most of the ingredients required are probably sitting on the shelves in your pantry, ready to be made into something delicious.

Pimento Cheese

INGREDIENTS
- 8 oz grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of chopped chives, parsley and thyme
- 4/5 dashes of hot sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sandwich bread or crackers

DIRECTIONS
- Mix mayonnaise, cayenne, paprika, chives, parsley, thyme and hot sauce well in a bowl until blended completely 
- Add shredded cheese and continue to fold until just combined and creamy
- Serve with sandwich bread or crackers


Egg Salad

INGREDIENTS
- 6 large hard-boiled eggs
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- ½ teaspoon finely chives
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sandwich bread or crackers

DIRECTIONS
- Peel eggs and finely chop.
- In a medium bowl mix mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper and chives
- Once all is mixed well, add chopped eggs and fold until just combined
- Serve with sandwich bread or crackers
