Top 3 Budget Friendly Food Spots
We’re getting closer and closer to a new school year, and there’s just so much to do and so much to buy! And when you throw dinner in the mix, the day just becomes that much longer.
But don’t worry! While you’re doing your back-to-school shopping here at The Wharf, we have gathered some really great fast and budget-friendly food options for just the kids or the whole family.
First up is The Sugar Shack, where you can get a combo meal for under $11! This includes a sandwich, a drink, and the option of fries or tots. We would recommend the Bacon Burger and some cheese sticks; it’s filling and will make your taste buds go crazy! (Pro Tip: The Sugar Shack Burger is a local favorite.)
Next up is The Market, open for breakfast or lunch; heck you could even do both! If you go for breakfast, we have to recommend the Sausage, Egg and Cheese Biscuit for only $3.50! It tastes just like Grandma’s home recipe that will fill you up with love. For the kiddos’ lunch, the corn dog is a must-try—it’s made with real honey and it’s perfectly toasted with just the right amount of crunch. And because you adults have to eat to keep up with the kids, the chicken buffalo wrap is incredible, and it’s only $3! What a deal!
When you’ve made it to mid-afternoon, the kids probably need a nap and you probably need a break. If you come to Blue Water BBQ Co. between the hours of 3-5pm, you can get so much goodness for only $2! It is dine-in only, but they have lots of space with great music. The $2 menu includes BBQ Sliders, Ribs By The Bone, Cornbread Muffins, Soup of the Day, Sausage Bites, and our personal favorite, Nana Pudding!
We know going back to school season can be difficult, but when it comes to a hectic mealtime, The Wharf makes it easy as pie!
