Winter at The Wharf Kicks Off the Holiday Season with Host of Themed Events

The Wharf will spread holiday cheer as the property transforms for its annual Winter at The Wharf offering activities for the entire family beginning Nov. 18, 2016.
Recurring events will be available all season long including:
Nov. 18 – Jan. 14, front entrance parking lot
Skate on real ice Monday through Friday from 4 to 10 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and enjoy Christmas Break (Dec. 17 to Jan. 3) hours from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Admission to the rink is $10 and $13 for the skating and Ferris wheel package. This year, you can purchase a frequent skater pass for $80, which includes 10 skate entries.

Nov. 18 – Dec.23, front entrance parking lot
Santa Claus will visit The Wharf every weekend including Fridays from 3 to 7 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 12 to 6 p.m. Various portrait packages will be available for purchase onsite.
o Live Animals
Nov. 25 – Dec. 31, front entrance parking lot
Inside Santa’s Village, guests can pet zoo animals, jump in bouncy houses and climb aboard a camel or pony. Each activity is $5 or a combo ticket can be purchased for $12.
Nov. 18 – Dec. 31, Main Street
A special production of the SPECTRA sound & light spectacular will be performed each night at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. down Main Street.
The Wharf tenants will participate in special hours and offer deals to help accommodate everyone’s gift giving needs.
o Holiday Open House
Shops will be open from 12 – 6 p.m. offering various deals. To keep the little ones occupied, there will be face painting, discounted ice skating admission and ornament decorating at Villaggio Grille beginning at 2 p.m.
o 12 Days of Christmas
Dec. 13 – Dec. 24
For 12 consecutive days, The Wharf will announce extra special deals from various tenants including lodging, food and retail.
o Gift Wrapping Headquarters
Nov. 26, Dec. 4, Dec. 10, Dec. 16, Dec. 17, Dec. 21
Located across from Island Time Daiquiri, the Gift Wrapping Headquarters will provide supplies and space to decorate presents in an effort to raise funds for Orange Beach Elementary School PTO.
In addition to these standing events, The Wharf will host the Christmas Tree Lighting Nov. 29 and offer the best viewing spot for the Lighted Boat Parade Dec. 10.
