A Tournament with a Purpose
Since its founding in 1996, the OBBC has become a premier event for competitive anglers and a major fundraiser for The Billfish Foundation (TBF). Over the years, the tournament has donated more than $1,000,000 to TBF and other qualified conservation organizations, helping protect billfish and vital marine habitats in the Gulf of Mexico and beyond.
What Makes OBBC Special?

- While blue marlin are the main attraction, the tournament also features optional cash categories for tuna, wahoo, and dolphin (mahi), drawing top-tier fishing teams from across the region.
