Kick off to the Triple Crown

The 28^th annual Orange Beach Billfish Classic fishing tournament is the kick off of the Eastern Gulf Coast tournament circuit and the start of the Gulf Coast Triple Crown Series, which is a series of high-profile tournaments held along the Gulf of Mexico. The tournament allows anglers to win cash prizes and bragging rights.

Anglers compete to catch billfish such as blue marlin, white marlin, and sailfish. The tournament also features categories for tuna, wahoo, and dolphin.

The Orange Beach Billfish Classic is a family run tournament that emphasizes team participation and is the only tournament on the Gulf Coast owned and operated by first-class, tournament fisherman!

The most exciting part … kids will be able to touch and feel the fish that are brought in on Friday! Be sure to catch all the action taking place at the Marina and Marlin Circle May 21 + 22.

The OBBC serves as a major fundraiser for The Billfish Foundation, and since its inception, the tournament has donated over $1,000,000 to TBF and other qualified conservation organizations.

Apart from the fishing itself, the tournament offers a range of social events including live music, and other activities for the entire family to enjoy.

The two-day tournament is guaranteed to be full of big boats, big fish + BIG fun!
