The 6th Annual Orange Beach Freedom Fest rolls into The Wharf on Saturday and Sunday, September 19–20, bringing two full days of live music, family activities, arts and crafts, food + classic cars.
Whether you arrive in a Jeep, roll up in a vintage beauty, or simply show up ready to snack your way through the vendor village, Freedom Fest has a little something for every kind of freedom lover.
Expect a lively mix of patriotic displays, outdoor-experience booths, local arts and crafts, boutique-style shopping, food vendors, cold drinks, and plenty of reasons to stay “just one more hour.”
Cruise Control: Activated
If you appreciate chrome, curves, horsepower, or simply a really good photo opportunity, the Bama Coast Cruisin’ Car Show will be parked along Main Street and Wharf Parkway all weekend long. From vintage classics to dream rides of all kinds, these beauties are ready to turn heads.
The weekend wraps up in high style when participating Bama Coast Cruisin’ vehicles parade to the beach at 3 pm Sunday. Consider it a coastal version of a victory lap—with much better scenery.
Big Fun for Little Patriots
Bring the whole crew, because the Kids’ Zone near the Ferris wheel is ready for action. Hosted by the Orange Beach Police Department as a K9 fundraiser, the area will feature bouncy houses, activities, snacks, drinks, and special friends from the Orange Beach Wildlife Center.
Tunes, Treats & Treasures
The Flora-Bama/CoastAL Music Stage will keep the weekend’s soundtrack going strong with free live music both days. Saturday’s lineup features Tim Roberts, Trent Brownlee, the Mike Diamond Duo, and the Dalton Bush Band, while Sunday welcomes the Brent Varner Duo and Ryan Dyer Band.
Between sets, wander through vendors offering specialty goods, jewelry, boutique clothing, woodwork, metalwork, candles, and other handmade finds. Come for the festival; leave with a new favorite local maker, something delicious in hand, and possibly a trunk full of shopping bags. That is what we call efficient weekend planning.
Parking will be available at The Wharf, with volunteers from Orange Beach City Schools assisting with parking on Saturday and accepting donations to support school programs. Shuttle service will run from Orange Beach Middle/High School throughout the weekend, including an accessible shuttle option.
So, dust off the red, white, and blue, rally the family and friends, and head on over for a weekend filled with music, memories, classic rides, coastal shopping, and a whole lot of American spirit. Because freedom looks especially good with a Ferris wheel in the background.
